James and the Retooled Cavs Top the Grizzlies 109-89

In their debut game…Ben, Wally, Delonte, and Joe each held their ground and made positive contributions.

Ben Wallace scored 12 points and pulled in 10 boards. Delonte West scored 5 pts with 6 assists. Joe Smith brought in 14 points and Wally Szczerbiak added 10, as the Cavs outscored the Grizzlies 32-13 in the 1st quarter and held a 21 pt lead (59-38) at the half.

Included in this debut, was an alley oop to James by Delonte West, and a 1-man defensive press by Ben Wallace, on an inbounds play, that lead to a 5-second call and a turnover by the Grizzlies.

This was a great showing for the newbies, and business as usual for the King, who added 25 points, 11 assists, and 7 rebounds.
